Shahi Chicken Korma which is also known as Shahi Chicken is basically a side dish that comes with thick gravy. At that period of time, the royal cook Mir Bakawal used to cook this dish in the royal kitchen of Emperor Akbar. Shahi chicken korma is a rich and flavourful curry. It's a dish invented for nobility.

Steps to make Shahi chicken korma:
  1. Wash and drain chicken.and then nicely coat it with ginger garlic paste, crushed green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric and salt and set aside for half n hour.
  2. Now heat a pan add oil and ghee.
  3. Add all whole spices and fry them for 1 min then add chicken to it.
  4. Keep stirring and cook for 5-10 min on medium flame.
  5. Now in a mixi jar add curd,fried onions,almonds,chachew and make a fine paste.
  6. Now add the above paste to chicken and cook for 5mints.
  7. Now add your garam masala, coriander powder and cumin powder and give it a good mix.
  8. Increase the flame and keep stirring the korma. here add one cup of water to it and keep stirring.
  9. Once u get the boil in it, lower the flame,cover the pan and let it simmer for 5 mints.
  10. Now time to check if our chicken is cooked. here u can also check salt.
  11. And switch off the falme. u can garnish your dish with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve with chapati, paratha or rice. enjoy.
