  2. Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan. Roast both daals until pink. Add garlic ginger and cook for 1 min. Add in tomatoes and onions. Saute until soft and mushy. Cool down completely.
  3. Take coriander and half Curry leaves.
  4. Take sauted mixture into mixer jar. Add in curd, coriander,half Curry leaves, dessicated coconut, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt to taste. Grind well to a smooth paste.
  5. Take chutey in a bowl.. heat up a tempering pan. Add in 2 tsp ghhe. Add mustard cumin seeds. Add asafoetida and remaining curry leaves. Add this tempering to chutney.
  6. Red coconut Chutney is ready to be served. You can serve this with Dosa, appam.
